Half-hour relaxation sessions cost £15 - see below.
If you are experiencing anxiety, high stress or tenseness which is causing you to feel unwell, is affecting sleep, creating difficulty in personal and social relationships or preventing you from relaxing into your therapy hour you could benefit from adding on a half-hour session of personalised, guided visualisation to help relax you and aid the opening up process.
This service is only available as a bolt-on to talking therapy and many people find it well worth the investment. It can be very effective in offering you a welcome reprieve from the rigours of mental and emotional processing that often takes place in therapy. I will find the places that you feel the safest and most at peace and recreate them in your mind as you let go of your worries and learn again to relax. It's a process that you can revisit for yourself and carry on at home and it has been found to be a major factor in overcoming anxiety, in reducing problems getting off to sleep at night as well as overcoming overly early waking.
