...it's really helpful to talk to an experienced, qualified counsellor you can trust who will listen without judging.
Taking the first step can feel daunting at times, but I'm here to help. I'm Angela and I'm a qualified counsellor. I have my own practice called Time4U2Talk set up for men and women of all ages, nationalities and walks of life who are struggling to find someone reliable and trustworthy to talk to. My approach is warm and friendly and where possible I aim to see clients within a few days of first contact where possible, sometimes appointments are available the same day.
My pleasant therapy room is conveniently located in a discreet residential street 10 minutes' walk from Cardiff city centre, half a mile from Queen St Train Station, 1 mile from Cardiff Central and 2 mins from bus links. I also have free parking outside. I am in part-time private practice and appointments are available Tuesday-Friday, and evenings and weekends by special arrangement.

Humanists believe in the power of the human condition, and know that everybody has the capacity to heal from hurts & grow inside them. They also believe every human being to be beautifully unique, of infinite worth and deserving of the respectful space it takes to build trust and open up. Including you. Yes you! Integrative therapists use the most effective tools and techniques from trusted modern forms of therapy, recognising that since each person is an individual, no one therapeutic style will fit everyone. Humanistic Integrative therapists with a person-centred heart know and believe that with the right encouragement, individuals can be put in touch with that capacity to heal and grow and be guided to discover their own answers to challenges. They do this by being interested, caring, understanding, reflecting on what is said and drawing your attention to what they notice. This kind of therapy is a bit like a bus ride on an exciting journey to a wonderful place with an experienced guide at your side who knows where the dead ends and pot holes are, but you are in the driver's seat
and you get to choose which stops you pause
at along the way.
Being an integrative therapist means I have been trained to identify and incorporate the most effective tools and techniques from other schools of therapy into my sessions in order to meet your needs and work creatively where requested using relaxation (particularly effective for treating anxiety), mindfulness, worksheets, games & more.
Integrative therapy means I will create a perfectly tailored package. The work
is a collaborative process where my mode of working will bend to fit you, not the other way around! Together we can confront issues and you can find the peace & acceptance needed to thrive. Together we can identify and explore new or under-used resources within you, that you never knew you had...
"I believe that when you are given the time to feel accepted and cared for just as you are, flaws and all, then you will have the desire to heal and make the changes you need to become happy"
